Backup Frequency
These frequencies enable our service to meet and exceed stringent Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO). This approach creates an agile and quick response to any urgent recovery scenario.
Our Backup technology is highly configurable, and the snapshot-based backup happens automatically on a predefined schedule.
The standard service offering is set at:
- 5 Minutes - recommended for priority one servers
- 15 Minutes - recommended for business critical systems
- Hourly - commonly used for file servers or application servers
- Daily - for low priority servers such as workstations or terminals
File-Level Recovery
File-Level Recovery is included with all of our cloud server backups at no additional cost. File-Level Recovery enables you to recover individual files from a selected backup instead of restoring the full system from a point-in-time backup.
Full System Restore
Full system restore is included with all of our cloud server backups at no additional cost. This will restore your entire Cloud Server to the point-in-time of the selected backup with the click of a button.
Off-Site Backups
Off-site snapshot backups are available at all of Atlantic.Net's data center locations. You can choose which off-site location your data will be transferred to and stored within.
Transferring backups offsite creates a number of distinct advantages for our customers. It allows for disaster recovery in unforeseen circumstances. In the event your systems are struck by a disaster scenario, the data can be rapidly redeployed in a disaster recovery service, meeting, and most likely exceeding your RTO and RPO requirements.
Replication
Atlantic.Net offers snapshot replication services that can take your disaster recovery plan to the next level! Our cloud platform snapshot replication service replicates your cloud VPS to one or more fail-over computing nodes so you can recover quickly in the event of unforeseen issues.
These nodes can be in the same data center or in another remote data center location. This flexibility offers a unique high-availability scenario. The frequency at which the snapshot replication service refreshes the data is configured to the same standards as our snapshot backups.
